Cortona (25 min.)

Cortona was founded by the Etruscans and it's 25 minutes far from. On summer the most importat event is the musical festival "Under the Tuscan Sun".

Firenze (50 min.)

Florence is the capital of Renaissance and iis also famous for its magnificent art and architecture. The city has been called the Athens of the Middle Ages. One of the bridges in particular stands out as being unique — The Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), whose most striking feature is the multitude of shops built upon its edges, held up by stilts. Other very famous place is the "Uffizzi Museum"

Montalcino (30 min.)

Montalcino sits in the middle of one of Italy's most important grape-growing areas. The vines for which the region is famous produce the grapes which are used for the production of the superb and world reknowned ‘Brunello’ wines. Like many of the medieval towns of Tuscany, Montalcino has experienced long periods of peace and a measure of prosperity.

Montepulciano (25 min.)

Montepulciano is a major producer of food and drink. Wine connoisseurs consider its Vino Nobile among Italy's best. Montepulciano is also known for its pork, cheese, 'pici' pasta (a thick, rough, chewy variant on spaghetti with lentils, and honey). .

Pienza e la Val d'Orcia (35 min.)

The trapezoidal-shaped piazza is defined by four buildings. The principal residence, Palazzo Piccolomini, is on the west side. It has three stories, articulated by pilasters and entablature courses, with a window set within each bay. This structure is similar to Alberti's Palazzo Rucellai in Florence and other later palaces. Noteworthy is the internal court of the palazzo. The rear southern side of the palace is defined by loggias on all three floors that overlook an enclosed giardino all'Italiana and spectacular views into the distant landscape of the Val d'Orcia.

Siena (30 min.)

Siena, like other Tuscan hill towns, was first settled in the time of the Etruscans. The historic center of Siena has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.The picturesque city remains an important cultural centre, especially for humanist disciplines. Siena is famous all around the world for the main square called 'Piazza del Campo' where the 'Palio' is raced.
